Dog grooming refers to both the hygienic care and cleaning of a dog, as well as a process by which a dog’s physical appearance is enhanced for showing or other types of competition. Professional grooming covers a lot of areas such as trimming the hair around your dog’s eyes or other parts that require a steady hand. Grooming is not just about maintaining your dog’s level of cleanliness, and it is not just about keeping your dog good-looking. Brushing and combing your dog’s hair coat is an important part of general pet care. Brushing helps to keep your dog’s coat in good condition by removing loose hair and preventing hair knots. These activities help to strengthen the positive relationship bond between dogs and their owners.
